This Econetic double-blade machine is presented for mechanised sawing of hard rock in steep, horizontal or small-dip ore bodies. Its controls vary travel and blade line speed as stone conditions change.
Adaptive drive behaviour in the source
Three inverters communicate to increase walking speed in softer material and reduce it in harder material. The large and small blade motors are also frequency controlled so line speed can be adjusted to stone and cutter. PLC plus frequency-converter protection is stated to stop the machine for blade jamming or nipping.
Commissioning should verify these control responses with the delivered electrical system; the old marketing description does not define the actual thresholds.
Four hard-rock frame sizes
The table runs from DBM1360-1900/GV to DBM2600-3100/GV, with 1360–3100 mm cut-width coverage and maximum depth of 1550 or 1850 mm. Every row lists two 75 kW main motors, 158 kW total power and 5 m³/h water consumption. Track spacing increases from 1140 to 2200 mm.
