The Econetic GV Series combines a double-blade quarry frame with permanent-magnet drive technology. The source separates its design into three practical areas: shutdown protection when a blade jams, inverter-controlled travel and blade speed, and a structure prepared for dust and unstable quarry voltage.
Drive and protection package
The PLC program and frequency converter provide two layers of protection, with an immediate stop specified for blade jamming or blade nipping. Three inverters communicate with one another to adjust travel speed as the stone changes. The main motors are also frequency controlled, allowing the large and small blades to run at a line speed selected for the stone and cutter.
Permanent-magnet motors are the identifying feature of this GV entry. The electrical design is described for dusty quarry conditions and an unstable supply, while the frame was checked with finite-element analysis. Those statements should be confirmed against the final electrical list and delivered model.

Prepare the bench around the selected width
Before choosing a GV model, map the required block width to the track spacing and confirm that the quarry has room for rails, blade clearance and block handling. The quotation should also state the blade diameters, segment specification, water pressure and electrical protection. A controlled trial on the intended stone is the clearest way to set travel and blade speed.
