G606 is the variety named by the source, so it is stronger evidence than a general “granite quarry” label. Even within one commercial variety, a representative sample and the working face are needed when selecting diamond wire and blade segments. The mine combines wire sawing with a double-blade machine. The original note does not preserve a bench plan or assign particular faces to each machine, so the sequence is not guessed here. A coordinated layout should show access, rail direction, pulley anchors and how the block will remain supported after each cut.
